CENTRAL AMERICA is comprised of 7 countries that connect North and South America. The isthmus is fertile and rugged, and dominated by a string of volcanic mountain ranges.

SOUTH AMERICA is comprised of 12 countries and 3 territories. It takes up 12.0% of the earth's land mass and is populated by 350,000,000 people.
