PHNOM PENH
Garden Bar
international
Large, cushioned wicker chairs surround the open-air and patio tables at this nice restaurant along the river. Ceiling fans, friendly staff, and tasty, varied menu. $

You'll want to go to this restaurant to support the cause: non-profit hospitality training for former street youth, but you'll want to go back because the Cambodian food is unbelievably delicious. The lovely traditional decor is also done by the 'students' and the menu explains each dish's ingredients and origins in English. $

Temple Market

Don't worry about bringing a packed lunch with you on long days exploring the temples. There are great food markets in the temple grounds offering cheap, authentic dishes and cold drinks. Stop for lunch near Bayon Temple. $
