Brad and Bex have been together since they met in Sydney in 2001. Three months after meeting each other, they embarked on a 3 month 4WD adventure around Australia, camping every night in the outback. They realized that if they could handle those conditions with no fighting or complaints, then they could do anything together! After more than 2 years living together in Japan, they bid farewell to Tokyo to travel indefinitely as part of this website project.

Since that first trip, they have both enjoyed putting travelogues and photos on Brad's business website as a means of keeping in contact with their family and friends. The stories of their adventures were motivating many people to go and explore the world, so they thought 'why not take it one step further...' and hence, the XNOW project was born. They got a lot of inspiration from the Let Me Stay For a Day.com website, and then decided to put their own twist on it. One of the main goals of the website being to provide a medium that guidebooks couldn't, by including lots of photos of the places they went, the accommodation and tours they used and be able to allow companies to always update their information. With Rebecca's love for writing and Brad's photography and webbuilding skills, they thought they could also have some fun traveling the world while also helping motivate others to discover new places and ways of life.

REBECCA SARTUCHE is from Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. She's had a passion for travel from when she was 16 and went with her grandparents to Israel for three weeks, and has dreamt of seeing the world and learning different cultures ever since. At 23 after completing a teaching degree, she finally left her desert home, and and hasn't stopped since. After staying in London, then backpacking through India and Southeast Asia, she made her way to Sydney, Australia, where she found Brad, the love of her life, and a travel partner for life. He shared her passions for travel, music, knowledge, socializing, and healthy living. They lived together in Sydney for a year before they ventured off to Japan, where Rebecca could finally apply her teaching degree teaching English. Her curiosity is always peaked at the thought of a different job or a new place, so she's constantly dreaming of new food, languages, and friends...the next job opportunity, the next country, the next adventure. BRAD RASMUS is an Australian born to a military family, and traveled a lot with his family due to the Navy and Air Force sending his father on domestic and international postings. He has lived in several states of Australia as well as San Diego, U.S.A., but considers Sydney his home. After getting a degree in Human Movement, he started Personal Training for several fitness centres in Sydney and eventually set up his own business called Triple S Personal Training in 1999. More recently though, he moved to Japan with Rebecca restarting his fitness business in Japan and also experiencing a range of jobs such as teaching English, modeling and acting. Due to his motivating personality needed for his job, he found that he also enjoyed motivating people to travel and decided that a website like ExploreNow.net could do the trick. Like Rebecca, he's always dreaming of the next adventure and will find it hard to finally 'settle down' again once they return to Sydney.
